Huntingtin Protein Ortholog Explorer
An ongoing passion project that combines available huntingtin (HTT) protein sequences from UniProt and NCBI, automatically identifies the polyglutamine (polyQ) tract and adjacent polyproline (polyP) tract, and provides tools for exploring their evolutionary conservation and variation across the animal kingdom.
↗Interactive Dashboards for Project Management
I design interactive dashboards that transform complex cost, schedule, and project data into clear, actionable insights, helping teams monitor performance and make informed decisions.
↗AI-Powered Video Analytics
I explore how multimodal AI models can "watch" and interpret classroom video, transforming unstructured footage into structured research data. These interactive visualizations evaluate AI performance against expert human annotations, highlighting the potential of multimodal AI to augment traditional computer vision tools and trained models and help scale educational research.
↗Mapping the Extracellular Matrix of a Jellyfish
I conducted a comparative proteomics and molecular evolution project in the Jocelyn Malamy Lab at the University of Chicago, which identified which extracellular proteins a jellyfish makes, and what that reveals about the deep evolutionary history of animal tissue.
↗Lipidomics of Predator-Prey Dynamics in Marine Plankton
I used lipidomics to explore the chemical dynamics between a coccolithophore and the dinoflagellate that grazes on it, and identified candidate biomarkers of predation in the open ocean.
